Asik’s grave, a memory complex, is dedicated to eternal secret love, to Serbian ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and it is placed in Metlic, 30 km far from Sabac. In his short story, Janko Veselinovic, a writer, described the forbidden love between two young people, Pavle and Djula, that ended tragically. A stone symbol with a carved ripped arm stood more than one century on the place where hungry wolves tore them apart. A memory complex is built on the spot that will soon be offered as a tourist attraction of our municipality.
