FC MACVA
The club was founded between two world wars, in 1919. Due to its quality and attractive game, it was generally called ‘Provincial Uruguay’.
The biggest success of the club was its standing in the first federal league in 1951 where it was playing for two seasons. After the war, FC ‘Macva’ was a stable second-league player in Yugoslavia. Now it is competing in the first league of Serbia.
The most outstanding players: Sava and Disa Stefanović, Voja Rogic, Aleksandar Ivos, Sele Milosevic, Vojkan Melic, Zoran-Buca Dakic, Zoran Jelikic, Dragan Arsenovic, Pavle Grubjesic... Prizes and recognitions: October prize of Sabac, Golden plaque of FFY (football federation of Yugoslavia) and FFS (football federation of Serbia), Order of merits for nation with silver rays. |
