The club was founded in war 1942.
It has competed in the first federal league since 2000 with short interruptions.
Bronze medal winners in European Championships: Ilija Lukic (Prague, 1957), Dragan Petrovic (Bucharest , 1972), Dragan Vasiljevic (Budapest , 1985) and Ljubomir Marjanovic (Sarajevo, 2000); state champions: Cveja Lukic, Ilija Lukic, Dragan Petrovic, Dragan Vasiljevic, Branko Radosavljevic, Milenko Vukomanovic, Dragan Srnic, Aca Vasic and Zoran Mitrovic; the youth golden glove winners: Smajo Karadarevic (1966), Branislav Bajic (1976), Miroslav Saric (2000) and Branislav Jovicic (2005); state representitives: Ilija Lukic, Dragan Petrovic, Dragan Vasiljevic, Zoran Mitrovic and Branislav Jovicic; the golden glove winner 2002 – Zoran Mitrovic; the golden bolt winners: 2005 – Branislav Jovicic, 2006 – Branimir Stankovic; the golden glove of Vojvodina winners: 2005 – Branislav Jovicic, 2006 – Branimir Stankovic.
