Visa system

Foreigners come to Serbia with valid passports and visas that are given by diplomatic-consular missions of Serbia abroad.
Citizens of the following countries do not need visa to enter Serbia:

a) For all kinds of passports up to 90 days:
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Chile, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Croatia, The Netherlands, Ireland,  Iceland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Canada, Cyprus, Cuba, Costa Rica, Latvia, Lichtenstein,  Lithuania, Luxemburg, Hungary, Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Germany, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, The Republic of Korea, Romania, San Marino, Republic of Seychelles, Singapore, The USA, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Tunis, Vatican, Great Britain.

b) For diplomatic and official passports as well as for ordinary passports with clause ‘business in…’
DPR Korea, China, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, R Tajikistan, Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Turkmenistan.

c) Only for diplomatic and official passports:
Ecuador, Pakistan, Guinea, Peru, Turkey.

d) Only for diplomatic passports:
Egypt.

e) Only for ordinary passports:
Mexico.

Conditions for giving visas to the citizens of the states that are subject to visa regime:

  1. Valid passport
  2. Inviting letter for private visit (certified by the Serbian authorities) or an invitation from a company for business visit or confirmation from a domestic or authorized travel agency about the paid arrangement (a voucher or other payment confirmation). On reciprocal bases, a foreign citizen can be asked to show:
  3. A return ticket
  4. A proof that he has enough financial assets in hard currency
  5. A confirmation from the health fund that he will pay eventual treatment costs

Group and transit visas
Citizens of countries that need visas for travelling to Serbia can get group visas for group travelling from domestic travel agencies. For giving transit visas, citizens of such countries also need to have visas of the country which they are entering after transit through Serbia. The transit visa is about 30 euros. For giving transit visas, it is also needed to have visas of the country which you are entering after transit through Serbia.
